About Colin
As it says on McColin.com...
I am 27 years old. I write software for a living in San Francisco, by way of New Jersey roots.
For fun, I read things on the Internet, enjoy watching movies and television, and listen to music on occasion. It's been noted by some that I have an uncanny pop-cultural knowledge, but I know folks that have better chops than I do in that area.
One of my absolute favorite pastimes is creating and playing awesome faux sports with my friends.
I am engaged to an incredible woman, love dogs, and often think about where my life is headed.
You can read more musings on my blog, in spurts on twitter, or catch up with me on facebook.
It's worth noting that I can be had for hire and maintain a professional profile online for that purpose, as well.
What may be worth noting about my work....
I conceived, designed, and developed fatDOG, an online literary magazine that had -- at its peak -- about thirty contributing authors. There are approximately three regular contributors at present, but a rebirth of the site is in the works. It will eventually become the major destination point of thosekids.org.
I also am the creator, game designer, planning, and backer of WOSoMP: The Weekend Olympic Showdown of Massive Proportions. This semi-regular event brings athletes from many different backgrounds together to play a series of faux sports. Games incorporate and combine elements from many different existing sports, but have a feel all their own.
As it's worth noting about this blog...
I tend to go through periods where I fail to complete blog entries. This can happen for any number of reasons, including writer's block, chronic busy-ness, chronic laziness, etc. In nearly all cases where I've dropped attentions to this blog, I have eventually returned and refueled it with more good (as I see it) material... at least for a while. Bear with me should a blackout appear to be happening again.
